38th Practical Seminar Epilepsy and EEG 2026 cancelled!
As we informed you in our email of March 17, 2026, the ongoing construction work at Palazzo Feltrinelli, our traditional conference venue, has prevented the University of Milan from reconfirming our event dates (September 13-16, 2026).
We, the organizing team of the MICHAEL FOUNDATION, are extremely disappointed by this, but unfortunately, we have no insight into the progress of the work in Italy.
Since all participants in the seminar now need to finalize their travel and personal plans for September, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event.
Of course, we intend to continue our seminar tradition next year; we will apply for a September date again. As soon as it is confirmed, we will publish it on our website.
Given that this is the second time we have had to cancel, we will be refunding all registration fees paid to date in the coming days.

September 13th - 16th, 2026 in Gargnano, Lake Garda
Since 1989 the MICHAEL FOUNDATION organizes a seminar for medical education in epileptology in Gargnano at the shore of Lake Garda.
In the calm atmosphere of an old lakeside palace of the university of Milan doctors from clinics and practices exchange experiences, knowledge and research results among themselves and in discussion with experts. Essential practice-relevant aspects of epilepsy of all ages are discussed.
Additional focus on „EEG“
In 2014, the seminar was extended to the subject of EEGs. The great interest by participants shows how important that part of the seminar is. The practice-oriented EEG courses are directed at beginners as well as advanced participants.
